2021 Candidates Forums:
Hoboken QLC Hosted Two Live-Streamed Candidates Forums on Oct. 22, for Local Elections on Nov. 2
The Hoboken Quality of Life Coalition hosted two Candidates Forums ahead of the Nov. 2, 2021, elections for the 10 candidates vying for three at-large seats on City Council. Hosted by the production studio of Hudson Media Group, the forums were moderated by Steve Lenox, publisher of local news outlet, TAPinto Hoboken.
The candidates forums followed the established format that the Hoboken QLC has maintained for over a decade, giving each candidate a minute and a half to answer questions submitted by voters, with an opportunity for brief rebuttals. These events have consistently presented a lively exchange of policy ideas, opinions and comments on issues that the voters themselves consider the most important. Videos of the events are posted below. (Please note: the forums begin about 12 - 17 minutes into the video)
